William Cannell Boatbuilding Co., Inc., together with Cannell, Payne & Page Yacht Brokers, specialists in the brokerage for sale of Wooden Sailing Yachts, and Fiberglass Sailing Yachts and Power Vessels, and brokerage of Yacht Charters. We are located in the American Boathouse at the head of Maine's Camden Harbor. The American Boathouse is on the National Registry of Historic Places as the oldest Boathouse built for a large power yacht in North America. It was built to house the 140' Lawley steam yacht MONA LOA. Bill Cannell has been building and restoring classic wooden boats for thirty years. William Cannell Boatbuilding Co., Inc. uses traditional methods to build and restore classic boats to their original details. Our Current Project Page features the restoration of the 43' Herreshoff NYYC 30 ORIOLE (1905). Our most recently completed project is the new construction of AMORE, a really lovely 34' daysailing/cruising sloop designed by David Ryder-Turner. Visit our Projects Portfolio to learn more about our new building and restoration projects, including an extensive photographic display documenting the projects - both large and small - from start to finish. Read Comments by Owners and Designers about our work. If restoring or building a classic boat is not of interest, we can help you acquire a classic yacht which has already been restored or which remains in good condition. Wm. Cannell Boatbuilding Co., Inc. offers a select worldwide listing of extraordinary yachts for sale. We invite you to review our Select Yachts For Sale presentation.
